The owner of Golden Lioness and leader of the team, Mona Gora provides the vision for our full-service approach, forging a culture built around her strong personal commitment to hard work, high standards and creative thinking. A lifetime New Yorker who came up in the Garment District as the vice president and co-owner of a lifestyle apparel company, Ms. Gora has cultivated her business persona with the same dedication she applies to a development property. She brings a laser-focus to our team that’s pervasive, reflecting a driving work ethic, the ability to multi-task and the will to do whatever it takes to make things happen.
As an active owner, she keeps her hands on every aspect of her business, and relies on each member of the team as individual leaders capable of making the key decisions to drive our business.
Jeremy Scherr brings an aptitude and passion for developing that’s been an essential ingredient in driving Golden Lioness’ expansion in NYC real estate. Jeremy helps set the tone for GL’s high standards of excellence and achievement and has taken the lead in the development of our exciting project at 338 Berry Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Goal-driven, with a tireless ethic, this native New Yorker holds degrees from the University of Michigan and New York University.
Sam injects energy and enthusiasm into the team as he gains industry experience and assumes an expanding role in operations. Having earned a degree in Economics at Boston University, Mr. Friedman is pursuing his MBA at Baruch College, and currently is involved in everything from investment and development to construction and property management. This personable Long Island native-turn Brooklynite manages an expanding portfolio of value-added renovation properties, and is an important contributor in the development of our anticipated 338 Berry Street project. Like the rest of the GL team, Friedman prides himself on identifying a diamond in the rough, and applying an expertise and work ethic to ensure it’s cultivated to its brightest potential.
Anslem Ramjohn has been with us from the beginning, and cares for 32 Court Street as its superintendent. Ramjohn is an indispensable asset in assuring that our hard-working culture and dedication to service extends to the furthest reaches of our organization. Ramjohn is eminently involved with our construction management team, and figures as a prominent player in future development and management projects with Golden Lioness.
With an innate ability to solve problems and get results no matter the circumstances, Jennifer Donaldson provides the glue that brings our organization together. More than just the face of Golden Lioness at 32 Court Street, Ms. Donaldson is heavily involved in customer service, property management and the renting of our residential listings, in addition to applying her considerable organizational skills in managing our main office. Originally from Kansas, where she earned her degree at Kansas State in Small Business Management and Tourism, Donaldson has the moxie and intuition of a native New Yorker, with an extra touch of patience that enables her to excel in tenant relations.
